Music Education
Limerick School of Music (LSoM) was established in 1961. With a student enrolment of 1500 and a staff of 55, LSoM is the largest provider of Music Education in the Mid-West region. Located in Mulgrave Street, in the heart of the city, LSoM provides tuition on all classical instruments from beginner to diploma level. In addition, LSoM offers tuition in Singing, Theory of Music, Classical, Acoustic and Plectrum Guitar, Speech and Drama, Instrument Making and Pipe Organ.
Its inspiring and dedicated staff are performers and teachers of the highest calibre. As a student of LSoM you become part of an exciting, vibrant and supportive community of musicians.
In addition, LSoM also provides an outreach programme at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Janesboro, Limerick.
